Guest speakers: Victoria Locke, County Chair for Comal County and Katy Schmader, Organizing Director for the Texas Democratic Party share their commitment to building an organizing infrastructure in Comal County as well as within our State and our County Chair's efforts to strengthen local grassroots engagement and mobilize voters in our community.

This month, we're thrilled to welcome panelists for an engaging discussion. They will share what it’s like to run for office and talk about their experiences. Through these conversations, we hope to learn what it takes to run and how we, as a community, can support our local candidates. Who knows? You might even leave feeling inspired to run for a position yourself! Our panel will be moderated by a fierce local political activist- Ashlea Allsup.

This month, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office will be speaking about the dangers of fentanyl and the drug trade and the drug trafficking industry in the U.S., presented by Deputy Adam Turbeville.
