Dr. Merrie Fox worked in public schools for 31 years as a teacher, coach, and campus principal. After retiring in June 2023, she became the Executive Director for Circle Arts Theatre in New Braunfels. She is running for Texas House District 73 due to concerns about the future of public education, our water resources, and responsible development in Comal and Hays counties.

Merrie has lived in the Texas Hill Country for more than forty years. She volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Riverside Pride, and she is a member of her church choir. In her free time, she enjoys playing card games, attending the theatre, and kayaking the beautiful hill country rivers.
